If you need to install Insite, then start at the top. If you need to get your Tool Instance Number, refer to steps 9-10

**Be sure to load this on the laptop you intend to use the license on**
1. Once you complete the download, Locate the "insite8_XX_X_XXXX.zip" File.(Most commonly found in the "downloads" folder)
2. Highlight the ".zip" file and RIGHT CLICK on it.
3. Select "Extract All..." - Bottom right of the pop up select "Extract"
4. The New "insite8_XX_X_XXXX" folder will automatically open.
5. Double Click on the BLUE icon labeled "setup_8.X.X.XXX"
6. Follow all the prompts to install Insite. **SOMETIMES THE PROCESS WILL PRE-MATURELY CLOSE, IN THIS EVENT REPEAT STEP 5**
7. Once the install process is complete Cummins Update will automatically open. **IF PROMPTED WITH A MESSAGE TO UPDATE CUMMINS UPDATER, UPDATE IMEDEATLY - CUMMINS UPDATER WILL OPEN AND CLOSE AUTOMATICLY. THIS PROCESS MAY TAKE A LITTLE TIME**
8. After any available updates are found, click the BLUE File Button. **IF ANY UPDATES FAIL TO DOWNLOAD/INSTALL, CLICK THE GREEN BUTTON AND TRY TO DOWNLOAD/INSTALL AGAIN. IF ONE UPDATE CONSISTANTLY FAILS, IGNORE IT AND MOVE ON**
9. At this point there should be 4 CUMMINS icons on your desktop. Click on the windows search bar/button and search for *LICENSE*
10. Open License Configuration Tool, Top right corner will have your unique Tool Instance #.
