The Atlas® 7K Kwik Bay is a portable scissor lift with a capacity of 7,000 lbs. It's designed for Commercial Quick Service Bays and wheel service specialists who require additional lifting height. This portable lift effortlessly raises a car or truck to a comfortable working height without the need for the operator to position arms under the lifting points of the vehicle. With the vehicle driven over the scissor ramps, the operator can easily position the heavy-duty rubber block assemblies under the correct lifting points, ensuring quick and safe operation with minimal risk of damage to the underside of the vehicle. The Kwik Bay's large footprint provides a stable platform for any raised vehicle, with a lifting height of over 39”, remaining sturdy at all safety lock positions.
The unique open center design of the Atlas® 7K Kwik Bay allows access to areas on the underside of the vehicle that are not easily reachable with other portable mid-rise lifts featuring a full superstructure. The approach ramps lock into a horizontal position, extending the runway platform length by an additional 10 ½” on each end, effectively expanding the lifting surface from 57 ½” to 78”. Equipped with dual power cylinders and solid safety lock bars, the Kwik Bay is one of the most versatile and user-friendly scissor mid-rise lifts available in the USA and Canada.
As with any open scissor lift, operators must ensure that the vehicle's frame is positioned at least 6 inches from the inside of the platform to prevent damage. The Atlas® scissor lift support bar kit is available for professional customers lifting heavy vehicles with narrow frames. For lifts with horizontal cylinders, it's recommended to leave some space (2-6 inches) between the lifting surface and the vehicle's lifting points.
